Lancia revealed the Ypsilon hatchback facelift

Lancia has not been doing well in recent months and its sales activities have shrunk to the Ypsilon and Voyager models, respectively mainly the Italian market. Today, the presentation of the rejuvenated Ypsilon , which will be shown to the public for the first time next week in Frankfurt, was even more surprising.

The transformation mainly went through the front part with a smaller radiator mask and a suction hole in the bumper with a silver strip. The 384-centimeter-long five-door hatchback thus looks visually wider . The palette of colors was completed by two shades – ivory Ivory Chic and blue Blu di Blu. The interior benefits from a revised central tunnel and a box in front of the passenger, with which the volume of internal storage spaces has increased by three liters. The upholstery of the seats and the plastics on the dashboard should be of better quality, a slight revival is represented by modified graphics of the instrument panel and a new gear selector.

The price list includes the Silver, Gold and Platinum trim levels, with the Uconnect multimedia system with a five-inch touchscreen, steering wheel buttons or voice control, USB ports, Aux-In connectivity, digital radio signal reception and possibly also navigation as standard. For example, the highest version Platinum has semi-leather upholstery.

The range of power units includes a petrol 1200 with a capacity of 69 hp or a turbocharged 900 TwinAir with a capacity of 85 hp with a semi-automatic transmission, or a diesel MultiJet 13 with a capacity of 95 hp. An alternative to classic fossil fuels is the 1200 LPG engine, or the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo on methane with a reduced output of 80 hp.
