Lancia Delta HF Integrale – Half practical, half awesome

We have already written about the Lancia Delta Integrale many times. But you don't mind at all if we exchange a few words about her today too, right? We just can't help but share these photos of the Petrolicious editors, taken by Daniil Matyash.

The Delta Integrale was born from its weaker sister, the Delta HF 4WD , which was created due to the homologation of the rally special for Group A. However, the homologation was also needed for the evolutionary and modernized types, so in the end, luck smiled on a lot of drivers and they could drive the civilian versions of these gems. The Delta became the first mass-popular four-wheeler with rally genes, long before Subaru even thought about creating the Impreza WRX . Lancia may not have been the first to come up with this concept, but thanks to its continuous streak of victories, it will be remembered.

The photographed piece belongs to Ivan from St. Petersburg . He has dreamed of Delta since childhood, so today he is extremely happy to be able to drive it every day. But buying a dream is not always a walk in the park. The car initially refused to accept new paint, Delta also had to undergo a complete renovation. As this is a rare version of the Evoluzione II , some parts were difficult to come by. The engine, gearbox, shock absorbers and brakes also needed their share of care. And as the icing on the cake, Ivan added Martini stripes to his car – so typical of Lancia cars. If you also want to fulfill your motoring dream, don't hesitate, or there won't be any Deltas left for you.
