Although both the Cherokee and the Renegade belong to the Jeep portfolio, they are genuine SUVs rather than off-roaders. The Night Eagle special edition , based on the Longitude equipment line, has a little bit to strengthen the "bold spirit" of both models.
In addition to black accessories, the same for both SUVs, the Renegade received a matte gray Jeep logo on the radiator grille, front fog light frames, roof rails and a special logo. Black 17- inch alloy wheels received an exclusive design. Five color shades will be available (Carbon black, Alpine white, Glacier silver and Solar yellow), including the new Volcano Sand matte color . Inside, we find a leather-trimmed steering wheel, exclusive textile seats with electrically adjustable lumbar support for the driver, the UConnect system with a five-inch screen, manual air conditioning, an instrument panel with a 3.5-inch TFT display, cruise control and rear parking sensors. Under the hood will be a 120 or 140-horsepower two-liter MultiJet diesel, a 120-horsepower MultiJet 16-cylinder diesel or a 140-horsepower MultiAir 14-cylinder gasoline engine.
The Cherokee Night Eagle features many dark design elements and a gloss black Jeep logo on the radiator grille, roof rails, 18-inch wheels and 4×4 and Cherokee logos respectively. The front windows were tinted. The bodywork can be finished in one of four colors – black, white, billet silver and Granite Crystal. In the cabin, there is mainly extra equipment, including a UConnect multimedia system with an 8.4-inch screen and navigation, nine speakers with a subwoofer, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an instrument panel with a 3.5-inch TFT display, an electrically operated fifth hatch and rear parking sensors . Under the hood we find a diesel 2.2 MultiJet II with a power of 185 or 200 hp. Both versions are combined with Active Drive I all-wheel drive.
