Hyundai i30 received 5 stars in Euro NCAP

The new generation of the Hyundai i30 received the highest five-star rating from the independent Euro NCAP vehicle safety testing organization. The results of demanding tests speak of the new generation i30 as one of the safest vehicles in the C segment.

The new generation i30 received the highest rating in its class at 90% in the child protection category, achieving the maximum number of points for the protection of an 18-month-old and a 3-year-old child.

In the category of adult passengers, the new generation i30 also received 90%, which means excellent protection for the driver and front passenger. The head restraints and seats were also praised for their very good protection against cervical spine injuries in the event of a rear impact.

The new generation i30 also performed very well in the pedestrian protection tests, in which it received the maximum number of points for protecting the pedestrian's legs in contact with the bumper. The electronic stabilization system and the front and rear unfastened seat belt warning system contributed to an 86% in the safety assistance system category.
