All American hot rods are crazy machines in their essence. Sometimes, however, someone appears who rises above this madness. One of these is now for sale in Michigan, USA, and it offers two huge inline eights , 2,500 horsepower and a fiberglass cabin.
The cabin was based on a 1932 Ford body, but almost nothing remained original. The surface panels are fiberglass and the interior was custom made. The front axle is made of stainless steel , the rear axle has a massive differential and disc brakes on all wheels.
The most interesting part of the car, however, is naturally the powertrain, which consists of two exposed V8s . Both units are all-aluminum Hemi with a volume of 9.37 liters . Each has its own control and fuel system, starter, alternator and produces 1,250 horsepower . The sum of both outputs is 2,500 horsepower , which flows to the rear axle through a two-speed manual transmission .
However, all this fun is not free. If you are interested in a similar monster, prepare 209,000 dollars , which is roughly 4.2 million crowns.
