Every type of race is dangerous in some way, there is no doubt about that even in the so-called drag. More specifically, a 2013 black Ford Mustang Cobra Jet crashed last week at the Annual ABM Nationals at Cecil County Dragway in Northeastern Maryland.
The start was about as expected, the Mustang Cobra Jet stood on its rear wheels and started forward. However, after hitting the road, the driver was unable to control the powerful machine and crashed into concrete barriers. No one was hurt, luckily. Under the hood of the American "muscle car" we can find two different power units. The first is the 5.0 -liter atmospheric eight-cylinder TiVCT , which has also undergone drastic modifications. The second option is a turbocharged 2.9 -liter eight-cylinder with a Whipple supercharger.
