Officially, no major brand of the Volkswagen Group can be present at the Austrian GTI meeting at Lake Wörthersee . There is also Seat , which, in addition to the racing Leon , also shows a modified racing Ibiza SC Trophy .
It was presented at the same place last year, but with an output of "only" 180 horses. However, Seat went to work and squeezed 20 more horses out of the supercharged 1.4 , so that the special has exactly 200. Such a herd is transferred to the road via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic DSG , which is assisted by a mechanical differential. The price of the special is 31,500 euros (approx. 815,000 CZK).
In addition to the racing Ibiza, Seat will also show a couple of production versions of the same model. The new Ibiza Cupra with a 180-horsepower engine in Nevada White with black 17-inch wheels will not be missing. This will be complemented by the Ibiza FR in red Emocion with the special FR 10-Year package .
