Chevrolet Corvette Stingray GT3 in the first illustrations

The American company Callaway Cars has been engaged in racing modifications of sports vehicles for over 30 years Chevrolet Corvette . The company has its branch in Leingarten, Germany, which has now embarked on a development program involving the conversion of the production latest Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray into a racing spec for the GT3 class under FIA rules.

For now, Callaway Competition GmbH has only released rough illustrations of what their final product might look like. Compared to the production version, the Corvette C7 GT3 will see a significant expansion of the body, there will also be air vents for the air supply to the engine part, stronger brake discs with linings and special lightweight racing wheels. Not to be missed are the equally important spoilers and diffusers, which give the car better aerodynamics and important downforce at high speeds.
The exact date when the new racing Corvette C7 Stingray GT3 will hit the tracks is not yet known, but as it is clear from the available information, we certainly have something to look forward to in the future.
