The Mazda MX-5 is not only a cult Japanese roadster, it is also an excellent and, above all, very fast racer. All fans will be able to see for themselves already this year at the British Touring Car Championship in the GT4 category, where this sharp version will be used.
In the GT4 category, they will start next to such aces as Lotus, Aston Martin or Ginetta or Nissan cars. He will deploy his most powerful weapons against them. These are a weight of only 1,000 kilograms and a two-liter four-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 315 horsepower connected to a sequential six-speed Hewland transmission. This Mazda will sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3 seconds, while it can reach speeds of up to 258 kilometers per hour.
However, this year's racing season in the British Isles will not be Mazda's first. She was already gaining experience in the Britcar Production GTN championship last year, where she did not do badly at all. She was able to win fifth place overall in a crowded field.
