Hungarian Péter Suha from Budapest is chasing his dreams hard. He founded the Cult Ride page on Facebook, where he and others help people realize their dream of an older car. And of course he himself must have some interesting car. He searched and searched for a year and a half before purchasing a Renault R5 from 1982. And not just any, but straight from the Parisienne 2 action edition and in perfect condition. Under its hood, an eleven-wheeler that has already covered 130,000 kilometers is bubbling.
Originally, Péter had to travel 120 kilometers to the store for the piece he was looking for. But there he already knew that it was the right car for him. However, the owner forgot to hand over the documents to the sellers, so he had to wait a few more days before the car was brought to Budapest . After three days, he called the shop where his car was, but the salesman told him that he was keeping the five for himself because it was amazing. Nothing could be done, Péter had to keep looking. A year passed and a suitable Renault still did not appear, so Péter called the same service again to see if the car was available. And this time, the salesman relented and sold him the car.
After such problems, when Péter finally parked the car at his home, it is no wonder that he fell in love with it. The Renault is in excellent condition , including the 31-year-old paint. Péter certainly doesn't want to change anything, he's just afraid that the Hungarian winter will force him to do so. For now, however, he and his son follow the same ritual every Saturday – they go on a trip from their shop with vintage motoring items, which is in Szentendre , not far from Budapest. He looks forward to these trips every week.
