Lamborghini Huracán circuit modification

Similar to the previous Gallardo , historically the best-selling car with a bull in the emblem, Lamborghini decided to build a racing special for the latest Huracán . The latter received several aerodynamic body panels, extra power, but lost all-wheel drive.

The full name of the Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo was developed in cooperation with Dallara Engineering, whose owner is a certain Gian Paolo Dallara , an engineer involved in the development of the now legendary Miura. Similar to the previous Gallardo, Lamborghini decided to install a large number of aerodynamic accessories , the most prominent of which is the massive adjustable rear wing. The front bumper, rear diffuser, bonnet with new air intakes and wider side sills are also new. The tires were supplied by Pirelli , which developed them specifically for this model.

Similar to the serial Huracán, the engine is powered by an atmospheric 5.2-liter ten-cylinder engine . However, its performance has increased by 10 horses to a full 620 horsepower, and the driven axle has also changed – instead of all four wheels, the Super Trofeo has only the rear one driven . Compared to the series, the weight went down by 151 kg, so the racing special will show 1271 kg on the scale.

The Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo will be seen in the next season of the brand championship Blancpain Super Trofeo , where, according to the brand, it will not compete with the older Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo.
