Honda Mugen CR-Z GT with six cylinders

After years, the Japanese car manufacturer Honda decided to measure its strength again on the racing tracks and, in addition to starting at the famous Dakar, it also promised to participate in the Japanese Super GT championship .

And what will he actually be racing with? With the CR-Z model, which was taken to show off by the Mugen factory team. The first step was to replace the hybrid system with an embarrassing 124 horsepower with a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder with a displacement of 2.8 liters. According to technical regulations, it will reach a maximum output of 300 horsepower.

When we look at the car, we find that this special has very little in common with the standard model. Conventional materials have been replaced by alloys and carbon fiber. A giant diffuser, rear pressure wing and also racing tires were added.

The Honda Mugen CR-Z will be presented to motoring fans for the first time at the end of this month, and we can only wish Mugen the best of luck.
