The road version of the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR was based on the racing special that won the 24H LeMans endurance race in the 90s. The road version was produced in only 26 units, of which only 6 units were in the Roadster version. This exclusivity is going up for auction, with the starting price starting at $1,995,980 (converted to CZK 40 million).
The specific Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster was produced in 2002. Under its hood sits a 6.9-liter V12 engine with 612 horsepower. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h was already out of the realm of dreams then, and this is still true today. A value under 4 seconds speaks for itself. The maximum speed is said to be up to 320 km/h, and during its entire existence, the supercar has been driven only 70 miles, mainly when passing from service stations and garage stalls.
