Ford Mustang specially adapted for drifting

Formula Drift Overseas Series Champion, American Vaughn Gittin Jr. , introduced his weapon for the new year of drift racing. It's a Ford Mustang again, and it's getting a special paint job from Monster Energy.

The Mustang RTR differs from the classic serial Mustang mainly with a slightly modified carbon bodykit and eighteen-inch wheels, which are painted in deep green and with war stickers of the main sponsor – Monster Energy . The interior features Recaro racing seats with Takata six-point harnesses.

Under the hood, the new Mustang RTR benefits from Magnaflow racing shock absorbers, a revised clutch and, most importantly , an 857-horsepower engine mated to a four-speed transmission. The Mustang RTR will make its circuit debut on April 12-13 in Long Beach , California.
