The open model has been missing from the Mladá Boleslav Skoda range for quite a few years. From time to time, an officially sanctified concept or computer visualization will appear, but a similar car will never be realized. And this will probably also be the case with the open version of the new Skoda Superb , whose appearance was thought about by the well-known "car manipulator" Theophilus Chin.
Compared to the very elegant basic liftback , the cabriolet lacks a rear pair of doors, the trunk lid would also have to be adapted, and the space under it would probably not be the largest. The compensation, however, would be the open sky above , which could be enjoyed especially with the 280-horsepower two-liter TSI under the hood. The design of the roof is a question, but we would like a classic canvas for a similar type of large open model. Well, and then you realize that in half a year a station wagon will arrive instead of a cabriolet, and that the German Volkswagen wouldn't allow a similar image matter in its portfolio anyway…
