Volvo S60 Polestar Performance – The end of German domination!

The Swedish car manufacturer Volvo decided to check the long-term supremacy of the BMW M3 and the Mercedes C63 AMG over the surrounding world and together with the company Polestar prepared something that will knock both of the above-mentioned rivals for breakfast!

The pale blue madness is based on the standard S60 model with a T6 six-cylinder petrol engine, manual transmission and all-wheel drive. However, in an unspecified way, it was possible to increase the basic output of around 300 hp to an incredible 379 kW (508 hp) and the torque to 575 Nm. The result is acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 300 km/h. The German hindquarters can probably go sliding…

The Volvo S60 looks pretty fierce already in its basic version, so the designers didn't have much work to pick up the fear factor. New are the front and rear bumpers, widened fenders, a 3.5-inch exhaust tip, and of course paint that you can't find on a standard sedan. Very attractive are the 19" Polestar cast wheels, which maintain contact with the road through a sporty chassis lowered by 30 millimeters. You must also have noticed that the wheel track has been increased – specifically by 20 millimeters at the front and 40 millimeters at the rear.

The interior has also received light modifications. There are newly installed Alcantara -upholstered Polestar sports seats. The same material was also used on the steering wheel and the gear knob to ensure the most reliable contact during driving.
