The Volvo car company has published the first photos and information about the new generation XC90 SUV in R-Design . It is intended for customers with active lifestyles who are looking for a dynamic and attractive car that stands out from the crowd.
The exterior of the XC90 R-Design consists of a whole range of details in a characteristic design. These include a grille , front spoiler, silk metallic window surrounds, integrated twin exhaust tips , high-gloss roof rails and matte silver door mirror caps. The stylish and dynamic look is completed by 20 " and optional 22" R-Design light alloy wheels.
Sports seats and a steering wheel covered in perforated leather, which form the basis of the atmosphere in the cabin, are accompanied by special details in the R-Design design . These include, for example, the shifter knob, pedals, floor mats and illuminated door sills . The driver will also have a remote control key in an exclusive R-Design leather finish. The R-Design equipment level also includes a 12.3-inch fully graphic user interface display , reminiscent of a tablet in appearance. This display also offers the R-Design theme as part of the display modes.
The drive will be powered by the same engines as in the classic XC90. So that means the 257hp T5 petrol and 325hp supercharged T6, the 193hp D4 diesel and 228hp twin-turbo D5, and the T8 hybrid version with a total of 405hp. All versions belong to the Drive-E family of four-cylinder engines.
The R-Design represents one of four trim levels available under a newly redesigned tree-with-two-branch strategy. The base tier is Kinetic , which is followed by Momentum tier. The two branches of this stock are the Inscription and R-Design trim levels. The Inscription version is designed for customers who appreciate an elegant appearance and a luxurious experience, while the R-Design will delight all lovers of a sporty and dynamic appearance.
