The Volkswagen Golf R 400 was presented for the first time this year at the Beijing Auto Show. The automaker initially claimed that it did not know whether it would go into production. But due to the values expected from the new Focus RS , we may also see extreme Golfs. The latter should become the absolute pinnacle of the R sports division's range and compete with the Audi RS3 , BMW M235i and Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG . Under the hood will be the proven turbocharged two-liter, which was already presented in Beijing. The number 400 in the name could refer to horsepower. Thanks to this, the car should reach 100 km/h in seconds, i.e. faster than the A45 AMG.
