At the Volkswagen stand in Geneva , the Golf or Golf Variant with the R-Line package was still referred to as a concept. Considering the previous generations, it was somehow suspected that the models would not be far from the serial form.
And indeed. Indeed, Volkswagen has revealed the details of the R-Line package , which is being proposed by its R GmbH division. That is, the same division that is preparing for production the sharp Golf R Cabriolet or Scirocco R. In total, it will be possible to buy three versions of the R-Line package separately.
The first focuses on the exterior appearance of the car . For 995 euros (approx. 26,000 CZK) for the Highline equipment, or 1,180 euros (approx. 30,500 CZK) for the Comfortline equipment, you get new bumpers, sill extensions and a rear spoiler in the body color. Another item is the rear diffuser, gloss black radiator grille with R-Line logo and fog lights. You can choose a visible or invisible tailpipe.
The second version has an interior on the front sight . For an additional 640 euros (approx. 16,500 CZK) for the Highline version or 945 euros for the Comfortline version (approx. 24,500 CZK) you get sports seats with the R-Line logo, "fake" aluminum decor for the dashboard and door panels or thresholds and pedals from stainless steel. The leather multifunction steering wheel and gear lever selector with the R-Line logo will certainly fit in the driver's hand. If ordinary fabric upholstery is not enough for you, for an additional 1,755 euros (approx. 45,500 CZK) for the Highline version and 2,115 euros (approx. 55,000 CZK) for the Comfortline version, you can get Vienna leather upholstery .
The R-Line package is taken as the last "stage", which will improve the driving characteristics . For a single price of 430 euros (approx. 11,000 CZK) for both versions, you get a sports chassis, modified steering and tinted windows in the front and back. In addition, all versions of the R-Line package can be combined with seventeen- or eighteen- inch Salvador wheels .
