Volkswagen presented a special edition of the Beetle

Nowadays, there is hardly a person who does not know the Apple company . What's more, there isn't a young person who doesn't own a mobile phone, tablet or even a player from this company. Thus, Volkswagen teamed up with Apple to offer similar customers a car according to their taste.

And the choice fell on the stylish Beetle. The special edition has the funny name iBeetle (for those who don't know, it's an association for the company's products with a bitten apple in the emblem) and the automaker itself describes it as "The first car in the world with a real interactive interface for the iPhone, which was made in collaboration with its by the manufacturer."

The biggest innovation is the installation of a kind of holder on the top of the dashboard, where you simply connect your iPhone and have all its functions available directly in the car. Apple and Volkswagen also offer several special applications specifically for this car: Spotify (allows you to listen to new songs or tune in to the radio), Expert (turns your mobile into a G-overload meter, chronometer, compass or oil gauge), Trainer (provides driving time data, consumption, range), Reader (allows you to read messages from social networks), Postcar (allows you to send friends a view from the destination where the driver is currently located) and Milestones (available if the mobile is not placed in the appropriate holder, rewards the driver with virtual stickers ).

Other changes include the installation of eighteen-inch wheels with chrome covers , chrome on the mirror caps, black door sills, chrome trim strips and, of course, special badging. Inside, the iBeetle features Galvano Gray dash and steering wheel trim, Vienna leather seats with contrasting light stitching, and a new shift knob.
