Volkswagen Golf VII Variant – first spy shots and illustrations!

The seventh generation of the Volkswagen Golf was revealed at the beginning of September of this year in Berlin's National Gallery. The official premiere for the public took place at the exhibition center in Paris, so it was only a matter of time before the station wagon began to be rumored. And we waited! The prototype of the Golf VII Variant is already driving on the roads and undergoing demanding tests.

It is clear in advance that the more practical German model will be based on a five-door hatchback and is said to offer a luggage compartment of 500 liters and roof racks for additional cargo. There will probably be no changes under the hood, the engines will be transferred from the five-door Golf – 1.2 TSI (85 and 105 hp), 1.4 TSI (122 and 140 hp), 1.6 TDI (105 hp and 250 Nm) or 2.0 TDI (150 hp and 320 nm).

Nothing is officially confirmed, but the world premiere could take place at the Geneva Motor Show .
