Volkswagen has refreshed the Golf Cabriolet

Around the middle of the year, the open Volkswagen Golf , based on the sixth generation of the German bestseller, got power units meeting the Euro 6 emission standard . Now minor appearance and interior changes are added to them.

Reworked front and rear bumpers , respectively new sill extensions, bring the design of less powerful variants closer to the sporty GTI. Whether it is a good choice is probably up to the customers to decide. Much more interesting, however, is the significant expansion of individualization – six shades have been added to the paint palette (VW will offer 13 of them in total), the canvas roof can be black, dark blue or red, and alloy wheels with a size of 16-18 inches (the GTI has nineteen inches) will be available in six new designs.

Thanks to the latest generation of steering wheels and multimedia systems from the German manufacturer, the cabin has a good look and is in much better harmony with other "people's cars". In the spirit of the body, the fabric or leather upholstery of the seats received new colors and patterns . Thanks to the transition to the Euro 6 emission standard, only TSI and TDI units appear under the hood. Gasoline is burned by a 1200 hp engine with a power of 105 hp and a torque of 175 Nm, a fourteen-hp engine with a power of 125 hp and a torque of 200 Nm, respectively 150 hp, or a two-liter GTI version with an output of 220 hp and a torque of 340 Nm. Diesel engines are exclusively represented by a two-liter TDI with a power of 110 or 150 hp with a torque of 250 or 340 Nm.
