The Volkswagen Cross Caddy heads into the woods

The German car manufacturer Volkswagen today presented another variant of the popular Caddy model with the nickname Cross , which, following the example of its siblings such as the Polo , Golf and Touran , will offer an attractive optical package as if it were created for nature wanderers.

And although it is clear to everyone that a few new plastics and big wheels do not make a personal version of a utility vehicle an SUV, the Cross Caddy looks really excellent. So let's take a closer look at this attractive version.

The vehicle, which is available in five- and seven-seater variants and which will go on sale in the spring of next year, will offer its customers an optical package including plastic fender skirts, sill extensions and the lower parts of the bumpers. Other changes from the standard versions include tinted windows, side skirts and original 17-inch alloy wheels. In addition, there is also a varied palette of paints, which also includes the popular Green Viper known from the Scirocco model. The overall impression, which in my eyes is very positive, is enhanced by the interior with two-tone seats. The gray stitching of black leather can then be found on the steering wheel, handbrake, gear lever head and adjustable central armrest.

The Volkswagen Cross Caddy will be powered by a range of power units including both gasoline and diesel engines. There will also be the possibility of burning LPG and natural gas. In addition, 4Motion all-wheel drive and DSG dual-clutch gearbox will not be missing.
