Volkswagen announced the introduction of Groove Up! & Rock Up!

Volkswagen has announced that it plans to introduce two special versions of its small Up! model in the future. Specifically, it will be versions of Groove Up! and Rock Up! However, as is sometimes the case, these two special editions will only be available to UK customers.

Volkswagen Groove Up! it will be available as a three- or five-door hatchback and its equipment will be more than rich. Standard equipment will include, for example, heated front seats, a leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel, Fender audio or a multifunctional information system. From the outside will be a version of Groove Up! recognizable by its gloss black mirrors, tinted windows and 16-inch alloy wheels.

In contrast, the Volkswagen Rock Up! it will be launched exclusively as a three-door hatchback, featuring anthracite body stripes and a subtle body kit. This includes a front spoiler, wider side skirts, a redesigned rear diffuser and a rear spoiler. Among other advantages of the Rock Up! includes automatic air conditioning, heated front seats, six speakers and also a navigation system.

Both models will be powered by a liter three-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 75 hp (55 kW) and 95 Nm. torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission, allowing the special editions of the car to achieve a great combined consumption of 4.7L/100km.

Orders are already being taken for both special variants, with the first deliveries scheduled for July. VW Groove Up! starts on the British market at 11,640 pounds (converted to 350,000 CZK), while Rock Up! in the amount of 12,980 pounds (converted to 390 thousand CZK).
