I certainly don't need to convince anyone that the Volkswagen Amarok is certainly an impressive car. But could you imagine this pick-up truck as military equipment?
The modified Amarok M was presented to the public for the first time at the Eurosatory Defense and Security exhibition . The task was to present the vehicle in as many variants as possible. This was extremely successful and we can look forward to interesting photos of an otherwise luxurious pick-up truck. For example, there is a version with a rotating turret on the roof, increased wading. Also versions with armouring, hi-tech communication equipment or perfect camouflage.
Under the hood, there will be a range of gasoline and diesel power units with outputs ranging from 90 kW (122 hp) to 132 kW (180 hp). All engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard. An eight-speed automatic will be available as an option.
