The British car manufacturer Vauxhal presented a new super-fast station wagon called the VXR8 Tourer . It is the fastest car in the entire history of the brand, thanks to the presence of a new powerful 6.2 V8 engine .
The VXR8 Tourer uses technology common to all Commodore variants. Under the hood is the mentioned 6.2 liter forked eight-cylinder, with an output of 431 horses (317 kW), while the rear axle is driven. The engine cooperates with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The driving dynamics of the VXR8 Tourer is in no way behind the competition. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes place in 4.9 seconds and the maximum speed is electronically limited to the usual 250 km/h.
Thanks to the body of the station wagon, not only the performance potential of the car will be used, but also the volume of the luggage compartment of 895 liters. After folding the rear seats, a volume of 2000 liters is created. Have you ever seen a faster mover?
The VXR8 Tourer is characterized by very luxurious equipment, which includes full leather upholstery, an Enhanced Driver Interface telemetry system , displaying performance data on a 5" touch screen. The car is fitted with 20" sports aluminum wheels.
Vauxhall VRX8 Tourer will be offered on the British market with a price tag of 49,500 pounds (converted to 1.5 million CZK).
