Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport for the UK

The British car manufacturer Vauxhall , which is a branch of the German Opel , has now prepared a special edition of the Insignia model for its customers. It will be named the VXR SuperSport and will replace the current "standard" version of the VXR.

The British Vauxhall wanted to attract its potential customers, following the model of the Opel car manufacturer, and removed the speed limiter from the Insignia VXR model. A year and a half ago, Opel launched the Insignia OPC Unlimited model, which did not have a speed limiter, and British residents, who are used to special editions of everything, could only watch speeds of up to 270 km/h.

The Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport will now reach a maximum speed of 273 km/h without a speed limiter, which represents an increase of a considerable 23 km/h. At the same time, the performance has been preserved, so under the hood we find an identical 2.8 V6 engine with a turbocharger, with an output of 325 hp and 400 Nm of torque. With this engine, the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, with power being sent to all 4 wheels via the AWD system. Apart from the maximum speed, the parameters remained practically unchanged.

Vauxhall is already taking orders for the new Insignia VXR SuperSport , which will go on sale later this year. Its price will be approximately CZK 953,580 in conversion. After a year and a half of waiting, the British will get a super-fast Insignia.
