Toyota Tundra TRD for Baja racing

Toyota is planning to show its offroad powerhouse, the 2015 Tundra TRD Pro model, at the Baja 1000. The car is ready for races in the Full Size Stock class and was only "slightly" improved – it was equipped with additional Hella lights, a protective frame from Chromola, offroad suspension wheels and it also has high-performance brakes. It rides on seventeen-inch wheels and 37-inch wide Baja T/A KR tires. As for the interior, modifications were limited, but the Tundra TRD Pro still has Mastercraft racing seats. You will also find two navigation systems and one communication system. The drive is provided by a 5.7l V8 engine equipped with a new exhaust cooling system and intake. Although Toyota did not publish the engine values, the standard engine output is 284 kW and the torque is 543 Nm. And who will drive this Toyota at the races? Ted Moncure , Andy Bell , Jamie Bestwick and Ryan Millen take turns behind the wheel. Toyota Trucks chief designer Mike Sweers will also hold the position of navigator.
