The only seven-seat hybrid currently available in Europe is the Toyota Prius+ . Although this largest member of the Prius family does not excel in sales, it received a facelift for the new model year, which, in addition to equipment, brought a more aggressive appearance.
Front grille with larger logo, LED front lights with Bi-Beam projector lens and LED daytime running lights in the redesigned bumper. This is a list of probably the most interesting external changes. In the rear part, we find a new graphic of the lights , a bumper with a built-in diffuser and around the license plate. Two shades have been added to the range of body paints – Dark Sherry and Attitude Black.
The Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system with a 6.1-inch screen, rear parking camera and MirrorLink function becomes standard equipment for all new Prius+. At the same time, dark chrome was applied to the door handles, ventilation and air conditioning controls or ventilation outlets. Between the alarms is a 4.2-inch TFT display , providing basic information about the vehicle, with controls on the steering wheel.
Thanks to modified shock absorbers , the modernized Prius+ will not only hold better on the road, but will also provide better driving characteristics. Less noise will also enter the passenger compartment, mainly thanks to the installation of noise-absorbing materials on the sides in the rear of the car. The drive continues to be provided by a hybrid drive unit with an output of 136 hp with a consumption of 4.1 l/100 km, which now meets the Euro 6 emission standard.
