Toyota is preparing a compact crossover

At this year's Paris Motor Show, the Toyota C-HR Concept development study will be presented in a world premiere, embodying the brand's new, bolder design language with an emphasis on dynamics. A crossover with a hybrid drive suggests the type of car Toyota would like to introduce in the C segment.

The C-HR concept brings a new, more expressive style to the car segment with an architecture based on the diamond motif. The lower body of the cabin's compact profile hints at small areas of cut gemstone renowned for its exceptional hardness. Toyota's front end is a further refinement of the "Under Priority" and "Keen Look" design language, but also introduces new styling motifs that hint at the future design direction applicable to all future cars of the brand.

When viewed from the side, the multiple surfaces in the lower parts of the body, extended wheel arches and aggressively curved curves around the rear fenders, which contrast with the exceptionally smooth profile of the car's cabin, are striking. The wide stance given by the rendering of the lower parts of the body of the concept is further accentuated by the very striking rear combined lights of aerodynamic shapes.
