The last of the Cologne triplets of the TPCA concern is born. The Toyota Aygo differs from its French siblings primarily in a different body design , and for the first time we can take a look at the interior of all three models.
Compared to the avant-garde Citroën and the more ordinary Peugeot , the Toyota is a pleasant dynamic change . The main element is the front mask in the shape of the letter X , which is additionally emphasized by contrasting paintwork. The rising window line stands out from the profile, but this is redeemed only by the folding windows for the rear passengers. At the back, we again find a glass trunk lid, complete with vertical headlights , which are again different from the rest of the trefoil. On the other hand, what does not differ is the offer of three or five doors and an additional fabric part of the roof.
The second generation of the small Toyota grew in length by 25 mm to a total of 3455 mm. The width is 1615 mm, the height is 1460 mm and the wheelbase is 2340 mm long. To make the list of numbers complete, you can put 168 liters in the luggage compartment in the basic configuration. The dominant feature of the interior is the x-touch multimedia system with a seven-inch touch screen and standard rear parking camera. Toyota has not yet shown what will appear in the base model.
Under the hood appears a liter three-cylinder e-VTi with a power of 69 hp at 6000 rpm with a torque of 95 Nm at 4300 rpm. The front wheels are driven as standard via a five-speed manual or automatic x-shift transmission.
