Toyota GT86 – Classic colors for Goodwood

Toyota will bring six GT86 coupes to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the livery of classic racing cars from its history. The cars are covered with colored foils, have polished exhaust tips, lower shock absorbers and special wheels similar to period discs. The two coupes will be based on the colors of the racing versions of the 2000GT coupe. Another is reminiscent of the 1980s Celica from the North American IMSA GTU Championship and also features the Esso Ultron tiger decal worn by the Supra racing in the JGTCC Championship. With other Toyota entries, it recalls rallying history, being brought out in the livery of the Celica 1600GT , raced by Ove Andersson in the 1970s, and the livery of the World Rally Championship Celica GT-Four in the 1990s.
