Volkswagen presented the Transporter Edition model to the public , which is characterized by a sportier appearance and also the maximum possible equipment. This version will try to compete with the recently introduced sportier van Ford Transit Custom Sport .
The new Volkswagen Transporter Editon will only be offered in a short-wheelbase and low-roof version. The exterior of the car will carry one of the 4 body lacquers, which are Candy white, Salsa red and then gray or silver metallic. Matte black 17" wheels will always complement the color of the paint. However, if this is not enough, 18" AZEV "R" wheels can be replaced for a small additional fee. The sportier-looking Transporter Edition features a matte black roof, grille, and black stripes on the sides and rear of the car.
Modifications have not been avoided in the interior as well, where fabric seat upholstery in Tasamo design and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear lever head and handbrake handle will be standard. The equipment also includes electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, electrically operated windows, remote central locking and/or fog lights.
A total of six engines will be hidden under the hood of the Transporter Edition , of which three are gasoline and three are diesel. The basic engine will have a power of 75 kW, on the other hand, the top will be the 2.0 TSI engine, which will offer a respectable 150 kW.
For the modified and fully equipped Volkswagen Transporter Edition, the automaker charges 26,846 euros, which is approximately 684,800 CZK .
