The small SUV Macan , which will come to the market in a few weeks, can significantly weaken the position of the larger Cayenne , especially its cheapest versions. In order to keep the large SUV attractive to the customer, the German automaker has prepared a special Platinum Edition series .
It differs from the classic Cayenne primarily thanks to the nineteen-inch Cayenne II wheels and the unique Platinum Silver metallic finish. Of course, you can also choose from other colors – black, white, meteor gray metallic, Basalt black metallic, Carrera white metallic and mahogany metallic. In any case, you also get bi-xenon lights and tinted side windows.
The black-beige leather interior has a PCM multimedia system with GPS navigation, a sports steering wheel, unique carpets and non-fogging mirrors. Add the modified Power Steering Plus power steering and the ParkAssist parking assistant to the equipment .
As I mentioned in the introduction, the Platinum Edition version will only be available in cooperation with the cheapest versions. The gasoline one is powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 300 hp and a torque of 400 Nm, the diesel one by a three-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of 245 hp and a torque of 550 Nm.
The base price in Germany was set at 66,379 euros (approx. 1,818,000 CZK) for the petrol version and 67,212 euros (approx. 1,841,000 CZK) for the diesel version.
