The new Mercedes-Benz Citan revealed

Although on the pages of the AutoZine.cz magazine we regularly cover news from the world of fast bikes and tuning, we must not forget the premieres of practical cars either. Today's official unveiling of the Citan compact van from the German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is one of such premieres .

However, we certainly cannot consider the novelty, which shares a technical basis with the Renault Kangoo , to be boring. A large space was devoted to design during the design, so we can enjoy the sight of a great-looking car with a large chrome grille with three horizontal bars. The large front headlights then emphasize the arrow-shaped shape of the hood. It is counterbalanced by a front bumper with a trapezoidal intake opening.

The Mercedes-Benz Citan will be produced in a total of three wheelbase sizes, and in addition to a high dose of storage space variability, safety has also been thought of. The Citan thus includes safety features such as an adaptive electronic stabilization system, ABS , VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control) preventing excessive understeer, TCS (Traction Control System) or ASR slip control.

And the popular BlueEFFICIENCY package guaranteeing a reduction in fuel consumption for petrol units will certainly not be missing either. The car also features an ECO start/stop system and tires with low rolling resistance. Unfortunately, the automaker has not yet published the range of power units. We will have to wait for all the necessary information until September, when the Citan will have its official public premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hannover.
