New BMW 4 series spotted on the German highway!

It's been almost five months since BMW officially revealed the concept of the successor to the 3 Series coupe . The new 4 series, which will bear the designation F32 , should reach the first customers in 2014. At least this is how the brand representatives commented on the situation at this year's auto show in Detroit. However, something tells us that we will try the BMW 4 series this year!

Testing of the new car on regular roads is already in full swing. While a month ago we got photos of the coupe and cabriolet gliding in the snow, now it's switched to the autobahn . The photos, which you can see in the gallery below the article, were sent to us by reader Jakub. They were taken on the highway from Munich to Regensburg , and judging by how fast the car was moving away from the photographer, it must have had something really big under the hood.

There are several options. Initially, the car should be sold in 428i and 435i versions. In the first case, it is a turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder with an output of around 180 kW . The more powerful variant has two more cylinders and a volume of 3.0 liters. The output should be around 230 kW . All-wheel drive xDrive is also expected, but only for cars with a coupe body. So far, there has been no mention of diesel units. However, if the automaker gives them the green light (they definitely will), let's expect the 420d, 430d and 435d versions.
