The French company Kollé will turn the Renault Kangoo into a pickup truck

The French body shop Kollé focuses mainly on the conversion of classic vans into pickup trucks or vehicles with a tipper body. It is also responsible for the first ever electric pickup , which is allowed on ordinary roads.

It was based on the Renault Kangoo ZE with an electric motor with a power of 60 hp and a torque of 266 Nm, which is supplied with energy by lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 22 kWh. This is enough for a theoretical range of 170 km. So the pickup shares the basic parameters with the normal box version. You can only recognize the conversion behind the three-seater cabin . Where you normally find a closed cargo area is a loading area with a length of 169 cm and a width of 149 cm. It includes 6 mooring eyes and 2 drainage channels, the load capacity of the electric version is 650 kg . The double-winged rear doors were retained, as were the vertical group lamps. There is a safety rubber strip around the entire body.

If the electric version is not the right one, Kollé can also rebuild the Kangoo with a petrol or diesel engine . In that case, the load capacity will increase to 800 kg. The price of the conversion is 14,500 euros (approx. 398,000 crowns).
