Chevrolet significantly modernized the Agile hatchback

Chevrolet Agile , a virtually unknown car in our country, underwent a significant facelift . The appearance was significantly updated , but the interior and drive remain almost untouched.

For those who do not know the Agile, know that it is a small hatchback , which in its current generation has been running on Brazilian roads for the fourth year. It already deserves some modernization, so Chevrolet pulled out completely new front and rear lights , a modified radiator grille and updated bumpers. There are still two versions on offer – LTZ and Sport , with the latter distinguished by different wheels and body decals.

The interior does not offer much news. Practically the only change remains the installation of a multifunction steering wheel with radio control and gear shift paddles, if you go for the automatic version. According to the press release, the quality of materials and upholstery has further improved.

Under the hood, there is still a four-cylinder 1.4 EcoFlex , which is capable of running on gasoline or ethanol . If you're just burning fossil fuel, the engine has a power of 97 hp, a torque of 129 Nm and accelerates to 100 km/h in 11.5 s. If you pour alcohol into it, the power increases to 109 hp, torque to 132 Nm and the time needed to acceleration is shortened to 10.9 s. The engine can cooperate with the innovative five-speed manual transmission F1X or the aforementioned Easytronic automatic transmission.

Sales of the modernized version are already underway, the basic price is 40,320 reais (approx. 349,000 CZK).
