Tata introduced two brand new models

Almost simultaneously with the Chicago Motor Show, the most important Indian exhibition of practically all means of transport takes place in New Delhi , India. For Ratan Tata's largest domestic carmaker , this exhibition is a great opportunity to showcase its latest models, which this year include the Bolt hatchback and its derivative, the Zest sedan .

Both models were designed in collaboration with the automaker's design centers in Pune, Coventry and Turin and showcase Tata's latest DesignNext design language. It is characterized above all by the shape of the front mask with a line, which the automaker refers to as the "Humanity Line". The rear lights are made up of LED diodes , and the palette of striking colors, complemented by fifteen-inch wheels, is aimed at the younger generation.

The interior is also significantly different from the car manufacturer's previous production. At first glance, the modern instrument panel and, above all, the five-inch touch screen of the multimedia system , which was created in cooperation with the Harman company as part of the ConnectNext strategy , will catch your eye. In addition to navigation, the system is also equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, the option of pairing with a smartphone or voice control.

According to the DriveNext strategy , the 3825 mm long, 1695 mm wide and 1550 mm high hatchback, respectively the 3995 mm long, 1695 mm wide and 1570 mm high sedan, will be powered by two engines – a 1.2 Revotron turbocharged petrol four-cylinder with an output of 85 hp at 5000 rpm. /min with a torque of 140 Nm between 1750 – 3000 rpm and a 1.3 Quadrajet four-cylinder diesel with an output of 90 hp at 4000 rpm with a torque of 200 Nm between 1750 – 3000 rpm. Power transmission to the front wheels is handled by a five-speed robotic F-Tronic manual.
