Tata showed the concept of a new SUV in Geneva

Indian Tata 's stand at the Geneva Motor Show is a bit out of sight of the main group of visitors. However, it would be a mistake to miss it, because you will see several interesting cars on it this year as well. For example, the concept of the six-seater SUV Hexa , which is technically based on the MPV Aria.

The matte gray paint is quite suitable for the 4764 mm long , 1895 mm wide and 1780 mm high hybrid between MPV and SUV with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. In addition, it fits the black plastic edges of the fenders, the lower part of the doors and both bumpers, which are also enlivened by the silver painted part . The columns are also black, with the exception of the first one, so the car looks light. The front part is decorated with a partially chrome radiator grille in combination with projector headlights, and at the back there are large group lights with LEDs. 19- inch wheels certainly don't look out of place on such a piece of car.

Six passengers can sit inside, in the first two rows on separate seats with armrests, but children should be directed towards the back. All seats are upholstered in leather , and Tata also boasts the longest interior in its class. The dashboard certainly does not look conceptual, and in addition to white plastic, you will also find decors in glossy black paint. According to the photos, the instrument cluster looks a bit flimsy, especially the speedometer and tachometer hands. The equipment includes a multimedia system, six airbags, ESP, on-board computer or automatic lights.

Under the hood is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel with an output of 156 hp at 4000 rpm with a torque of 400 Nm between 1700 – 2700 rpm. The car on display has a manual transmission, all-wheel drive is optional. This also actually indicates that the Tata Hexa will appear in series production probably sooner than we expected…
