Suzuki revealed the final form of the Alta Turbo RS

The sporty Alto Turbo RS was shown by Suzuki in the form of a concept at the tuning exhibition in Tokyo in early January, and even then it was almost certain that the production form would not be long in coming.

Although the concept was a little wilder, even the serial form of the sports kei car certainly does not look boring. Compared to the standard Alto , the Turbo RS features a silver surround around the lights, a subtle color strip in the front and rear bumpers, fog lights, side skirts, a Turbo RS logo on the lower part of the doors, a spoiler on the fifth door, a subtle drain bar under the rear window, extended fenders and 15-inch wheels with Bridgestone tires size 165/55. The menu will include black, white and red colors supplemented with elements in a contrasting shade. Above all, in the combination of white and red, the Alto reminds one of the Abarth 500, but that doesn't change the fact that it looks very good.

In the cabin, it's a game of black and red. This combination has anatomical seats , a dashboard with red frames around the ventilation outlets and a steering wheel stitched with red thread. The instrument panel has three alarm clocks including a tachometer , which, together with the speedometer, is painted white. The standard Alta was already talking about an intergenerational increase in body stiffness, the sports version adds another five percent improvement . This is mainly due to the additionally mounted strut and reinforced front bumper.

Under the hood is a three-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 0.66 liters according to the rules of the kei class, which, thanks to supercharging with a modified turbocharger, has an output of 64 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 98 Nm at 3000 rpm. It may not seem like much, but with a weight of 670 kg in the case of a two-wheeler and 720 kg in the case of a four-wheeler, even this power will get a decent workout with the hatchback. The only transmission available is a five-speed AGS automatic with paddle shifters under the steering wheel, with which the single-axle version claims 3.91 l/100 km and the all-wheel drive 4.07 l/100 km. The chassis is stiffer compared to the standard model and offers better grip, new ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels.
