Subaru Pleo Plus can drive for 3.3 l/100 km!

Kei cars – the tax-advantaged class of minicars sold in Japan has another representative. After more than a year since the introduction of the Daihatsu Mira e:S , its twin from Subaru called the Pleo Plus arrives!

In terms of design, the two models practically do not differ from each other. Again (as with all minicars in the kei category) it's more of a disproportionate box than some big beaut. Still, I think the Pleo Plus looks better than a good half of the minivans on our market. The interior is again almost the same and the gear lever on the center console is dominant.

More important is the space under the hood, which actually tells us why the Pleo has the name Plus. This shows the facelift especially under the hood. A 0.65-liter three-cylinder engine with 52 hp and 60 Nm of torque moved in there. In addition to the new engine, the Pleo also received a stop/start system, "regenerative braking" and an ecologically preset CVT transmission . All this results in a consumption of only 3.3 l/100 km !

In addition to the gadgets listed above, the Pleo also has the Eco Drive Assist system, which helps the driver to drive environmentally. The price of the novelty in the kei class starts at 795,000 yen (approx. 189,000 CZK) for a two-wheeler or 1,097,500 yen (approx. 261,000 CZK) for the all-wheel drive version.
