Subaru will present the concept of the sixth generation of the Legacy model in LA

The fifth-generation Subaru Legacy has been on the market since 2009, and according to the Japanese automaker, the time has come for the arrival of a new, already sixth-generation mid-class sedan or station wagon. Its prototype will be seen for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show .

The classic sedan, at least within the concept, will become a modern four-door coupe . The design itself further develops the elements already presented on the Viziv or WRX concepts , which include the hexagonal mask, the shape of the mirrors or the futuristic lights at the front and rear. Attention is drawn to the 21-inch wheels, extended fenders and dynamic-looking bumpers, and the entire body is then sprayed in Ocean silver metallic .

We don't see the interior of the model in the photos, but according to the press release it offers "high functionality and enough space for four people" . The most important element will certainly be the touch screen of the multimedia system , which can also be controlled using a tablet or smartphone. The sporty nature of the Legacy is expressed by the three-spoke steering wheel, and the brown leather upholstery comes from the opposite barrel.

The 4930 mm long , 1940 mm wide and 1500 mm high concept with a wheelbase of 2880 mm has S-AWD all-wheel drive like every Subaru. In addition, the Japanese automaker has equipped the Legacy Concept with the EyeSight driving assistant, which works with the head-up display. However, the press release is silent about the specific drive.
