Subaru will really make a BRZ STI!

The Subaru BRZ and its associated twin, the Toyota GT86 , are among the world's biggest surprises of this year's car. So it's no wonder that more versions are on the way! And while Toyota is preparing a convertible , Subaru is preparing a sharper version !

A lot will change in terms of design – of course there is a new front and rear bumper, a huge "ironing board" at the back, sill extensions and a modified mask… The design will be underlined by 18-inch alloy wheels. Whether they will be golden remains to be seen…

Under the hood will bubble the strengthened four-cylinder 2.0 from the basic version, but those who expect a turbocharger will be disappointed! There is no place for an intercooler in the engine compartment. Instead, Subaru will adjust the variable valve timing , the maximum limit of revolutions will move beyond the limit of 7500 per minute. This allows the engineers to mine up to 230 horsepower !

The chassis will also see changes – specifically, shock absorbers and springs will be modified, and for better stopping, Subaru will install four-piston STI brakes .

The BRZ STI will appear on the market in the summer of next year at a price of around 850,000 CZK .
