SsangYong started selling the Rexton W as a light commercial vehicle

The segment of light commercial vehicles belongs to the most open classes of the automotive market. As the SsangYong Rexton W CSX proves, all you have to do is remove the rear seats, blind the side windows, and suddenly the car is a small van.

Mainly thanks to the removal of the rear bench and the installation of a flat floor, the Rexton W CSX offers a bed area of 1700 mm in length and 1070 mm in width between the wheel arches. The cargo area has a volume of 2.2 m 3 , a load capacity of 615 kg is also decent and the possibility to attach a trailer weighing up to 3000 kg behind the car.

Mechanically, the van corresponds to a classic SUV, instead of the old-fashioned Mercedes diesel, the two-liter e-XDi200 turbodiesel with a power of 155 hp at 4,000 rpm and a torque of 360 Nm between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm "beats" under the hood. A six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive are standard.

The basic equipment is very rich, including front and side airbags, cruise control, air conditioning, electrically controlled and heated mirrors, radio with CD player and iPod/Bluetooth connectivity, stabilization, hill descent assistant or anti-rollover system. The price starts at 18,495 pounds (approx. 660,000 crowns).
