The smallest and at the same time the best-selling model of the Korean SsangYong , the Korando SUV , underwent a facelift . The Korando brought it closer to the rest of the model palette and brought the letter C with it.
This appears not only in the name of the car, but also on the fifth door, where the name of the car is written in large letters. The shape of the letter C can even be found in the rear headlights . However, more changes took place in the front, where SsangYong installed new projector lights with LED diodes for daytime running lights. The radiator grille and bumper were also subtly modified.
The interior will mainly offer softened materials and wood paneling, which may not be genuine. The instrument panel is completely new, and the center panel has also been modified. Multimedia was also not forgotten – Korando C is newly equipped with a seven-inch touch screen, through which it is possible to stream music via the Harman radio or operate 3D navigation .
Nothing changes under the hood – you will still find a two-liter diesel with 149 or 175 horsepower. Both units cooperate with a six-speed manual, there is also an equally graduated automatic on request. The biggest change is thus the ecological optimization of the engine – in Eco mode , consumption and emission values improved by 8.4%. However, if you don't want to save money, you can also switch the engine to sports mode. The level of vibrations and noise that penetrates from the engine into the cabin was also improved.
The new Korando C will be sold in Asia in three trim levels and now with a three-year comprehensive warranty.
