Subaru Technica International , aka STI , has prepared a limited edition BRZ coupe, which will be called Series Blue. However, they focused more on appearance than performance.
The bodykit was modified, where a nm spoiler under the bumper was added at the front. There are also new sill extensions on the sides. The drag coefficient dropped by a hundredth to 0.27. In addition, the appearance of the exterior was improved by black 17- inch STI wheels, under which there are newly painted red brake calipers. The interior features a combination of blue and black leather with blue contrasting stitching. The steering wheel, gear lever, handles and door handles have been newly modified. Under the hood, however, there is still the same two-hundred-horsepower two-liter engine, which transmits power to a six-speed manual transmission. A total of 1,000 Series Blue edition cars will be produced.
