Many special models have already been presented at the current tuning meeting in Wörthersee, organized by the Volkswagen concern. For example, domestic Skoda presented five models , Volkswagen presented a special model, Seat showed a racing Leon , and Audi was not far behind . She presented the unique A1 Sportback R18 model at the aforementioned meeting .
It took the additional name from the racing special for Le Mans – R18 e-tron quattro . More precisely, the R18 represents a kind of modification package that pays tribute to the racing specials that won the Le Mans race. The Audi A1 Sportback R18 can be identified mainly by the red and gray accents, the 378 designation and the unique roof spoiler. We can also see a splitter on the front, the whole beauty is completed by attractive alloy wheels with black elements.
There have been no major improvements in the interior itself, it will only offer special mats and a center console that goes in the style of the exterior design. The Ingolstadt automaker declined to disclose pricing, but the R18 package will reportedly become part of a plan to offer some customizations with the purchase of the A1.
