Soon we will see the new generation of Opel Vivaro

The Opel Vivaro has been offered together with the Renault Trafic for 12 years. During that time, we have seen several minor and major modernizations , but the full-fledged successor will not appear in Birmingham until this year.

And as is usual in the mid-size van segment, Opel (Vauxhall in the UK) will also be looking to move closer to the passenger car segment . We will recognize this especially in the interior, where a multimedia system with Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation and other elements will appear.

From the outside, the Vivaro does not deny its kinship with the latest Opel models . The dominant element will be the large radiator grille and the lights connected to it. Under the hood, we should continue to meet the diesel four-cylinder 2.0 CDTI in several power variants. The question remains the offer of various body types.

Production will take place at the factory in Luton, UK , which currently employs around 1,200 employees. Although it was due to be closed in 2011 due to the economic crisis, thanks to the plan to produce the new Vivaro, jobs at the factory, which produces about 67,000 cars per year , have been preserved.

Along with the Vivar, we will also see the new generation Renault Trafic in Birmingham. Most of the technical elements will be the same, but both cars will differ in terms of design, according to the first sketches.
