Skoda Yeti by BT design presented in Leipzig!

One flash of news reached us from Leipzig. Here, at this year's AMI , the Etape concept was presented, which is the responsibility of the Czech designer BT design !

You must have quickly recognized the foundation on which a successful creation is built. The original Skoda Yeti lost its roof in the rear, and the seats were replaced by a relatively long bed. However, the modifications were not limited to the conversion into a pickup truck , but also include a very good body kit . It consists of a new front bumper, extended fenders and great spoked wheels. In context, the rear diffuser with two exhaust tips also looks great.

But what would a bodykit be without perfect paint and imaginative details? The snow-white color contrasts nicely with the silver coating of the hood, radiator grille, roof and bed lid, the smoked front and rear lights remind me very much of the Fabia Monte Carlo .

Enough of the exterior, let's go inside. Here comes perhaps an even bigger surprise than the body design! BT design didn't leave a thread dry inside, and as much as possible, matched the color to his own image. I highly appreciate the use of Sparco bucket seats and four-point seat belts.

The ETAPE concept by BT design was built for promotional purposes. Unfortunately, it cannot be expected that it will ever go into production. The official press release also did not mention the engine. So we can only speculate as to which unit the used seven-speed DSG transmission is associated with.
